Temporary Restorative Material.
ZINC OXIDE is used as a temporary restorative agent; cavity lining agent; agent for temporary or permanent cementing; agent for filling root canals or as surgical cement.
The pH of ZINC OXIDE and Eugenol is practically neutral, tending towards slight alkalinity, therefore being less irritating than other cements. Studies have shown that marginal infiltration is minimal, with excellent adaptation after inclusion in the cavity.
