Cotton/polyester thread (39% cotton and 61% polyester) is a non-absorbable surgical thread, that is, when used in a living organism it is not absorbed by it.
It's origin is partly natural (cotton) and partly synthetic (polyester) and consists of elementary fibers brought together by twisting.
The diameter of the thread corresponds to surgical number 3-0 and has a breaking strength greater than 1700 gf.
