


Clorexoral Gel
Description
Material for Root Canal Disinfection.
CLOREXORAL is a product whose active ingredient is chlorhexidine digluconate.
Chlorhexidine, when in low concentrations (0.12%), is a bacteriostatic agent and in high concentrations (2%) it transforms into a rapid bactericidal agent.
Chlorhexidine acts through the electrostatic interaction of its positive and negative charges on the bacterial cell wall, causing it to rupture, precipitating the cytoplasm and causing the death of the bacteria.
It has low toxicity, not damaging the periapical tissues.
