Varnal

Description

Cavity Varnish.

Varnal is a cavity varnish composed of a resinous solution insoluble in the oral environment, used as an aid in lining and protecting the dentin-pulp complex. When Varnal is applied to the cavity preparation, the solvent evaporates, leaving a thin resin film on the surface. This thin film acts as a semipermeable membrane, preventing the passage of certain ions and avoiding the penetration of products resulting from the corrosive action of amalgam.
It is of great importance to achieve a uniform and continuous coverage over all surfaces of the cavity preparation. If the layer is irregular or porous, the result will not be satisfactory.

Advantages

  • Reduces marginal leakage;
  • Eliminates galvanic shocks;
  • Provides protection to the dentin-pulp complex;
  • High-purity raw material.

Forms of presentation

  • 1 bottle of Varnal containing 10ml.
